It should feature a professional photo and links to any recent articles, training, speaking engagements.
A strong profile must contain these key elements:
- A Profile Photo: It should be recent, professional and represent you or your company.
- The Headline: This is the most crucial 120 characters on your profile should stand out, include important keywords that are specific to your practice area and make people want to read more about you.
- Summary: Write your summary in a tone you would use to address clients or customers over coffee. Your description should make them want to hire you.
- Background and Experience: Make sure your background and work experience is relevant to your current practice. The most important information should be at the top. Take advantage of the chance to expand on topics that are important and wouldn’t fit on a regular CV.
